Korean Fried Chicken Wings ✨

Ingredients:

For Marinating:
• 2 lbs chicken wings
• Salt
• Pepper
• Milk

For Battering:
• 1 egg
• 6 tbsp cornstarch (divided)
• 3 tbsp allpurpose flour
• 3 tbsp Korean fried chicken mix

For the Sauce:
• 3 cloves minced garlic
• 2 tbsp gochujang sauce
• 2 tbsp ketchup
• 1 tbsp honey
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 cup water

For Cooking:
• Butter (for sautéing)
• Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, marinate the chicken wings with salt, pepper, and milk. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

2. Prepare for Battering: After 2 hours, pour out the milk. Add 1 egg and 3 tbsp of cornstarch to the chicken.

3. Make the Batter: In a separate bowl, mix 3 tbsp of cornstarch, 3 tbsp of allpurpose flour, and 3 tbsp of Korean fried chicken mix.

4. Coat the Chicken: Coat the marinated chicken wings with the batter mixture.

5. Fry the Chicken: Deep fry the chicken wings in hot oil for about 68 minutes on mediumhigh heat until golden and crispy.

6. Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, combine minced garlic, gochujang sauce, ketchup, honey, soy sauce, and water. Mix well.

7. Cook the Sauce: In a pan, add some butter. Once melted, add the prepared sauce. Cook until thickened, then add the fried chicken to the pan, ensuring the wings are coated with the sauce.

8. Garnish: Finish by garnishing with sesame seeds. Enjoy your delicious Korean fried chicken wings!
