In this video, "Kratky Method: SOIL vs HYDROPONICS for Microgreens" we test growing Red Cabbage Microgreens in the Kratky Tray setup. Inspired by a question from our subscriber, ‪@EYETORUSey9cs‬, who asked, "Can you grow Microgreens using the Kratky Tray Setup with Soil, without overwatering?"

For our experiment, we set up one Kratky Tray Group with @FoxFarmFertilizerCo Ocean Forest Potting Blend soil, which was given 14 cups of regular pHbalanced water on Day 5.

For our Hydroponic Group, we used our Silicone Reusable Grow Medium, which received 14 cups of pHbalanced water on Day 5, along with additional fertilizer.

Typically, when growing Microgreens with the Kratky Method, we use Hydroponic Grow Mats!
