For Christmas my wife bought me a set of cards made by the ace song writer Laura Viers. They're for generating ideas or rules to use as guides in songwriting exercises. The first card I turned over said, 'write a song from the point of view of the moon'. Those of you who know my music will know that I've already written a song from the point of view of the moon. I decided to go with it though, the world has changed since I wrote Wintermoon so here is what our pal Luna might be saying now.

This song was recorded on my little Waterloo guitar into a Neumann KMS 104, it also fed into a Fender Princeton amp through a Chase Bliss Mood Pedal and an Electroharmonix 720 looper using an LR Baggs magnetic sound hole pickup.
There's an Ear Trumpet Labs mic on my feet too although I muted it for the first bit just for a dynamic change. I sang into a Shure SM7B.
