This is taken from an online show at Gloworm Recording in Glasgow. With Rachel Lightbody on vocals, Euan Burton on Bass and Louis Abbott on Vocals and Guitar.

I wrote the song as part of a commission for a BBC Radio Ballad on the Great War. It's about the scuttling of the German High Fleet in Orkney in 1919. Because I was writing it about the same time as the Brexit discussion was at it's peak I felt drawn to write from the point of view of an ordinary German sailor.
