CBS affiliate KXJBDT (Valley City/Fargo) was shut off for the last time as a CBS station on November 30th, 2014 at 11:05 pm at the end of the 10pm newscast (which was running late due to football). The CBS operation was merged with NBC affiliate KVLY and moved to channel 11.2. The signoff starts around the 1:50 mark. KXJB has been the CBS affiliate in FargoMoorhead since 1954, and the only station in Fargo to never make an affiliation change. Certainly a historical set of call letters, and era in FargoMoorhead television has come to an end.

KXJB has been sold to a minority owner. Not sure what the new station will be, or if they'll take the same KXJB call letters.
