This lecture describes the behaviour of CD Nozzle when Back pressure is varied.
Nozzle behaves ideal i.e., increase velocity/reduce pressure only if the designed back pressure prevails downstream of the Nozzle, otherwise it will act as a diffuser or Shock occurs inside the Nozzle.
