Paul Davids is an awardwinning Hollywood author, artist and film director. As an author, his most recent book is the ambitious 514page nonfiction book AN ATHEIST IN HEAVENTHE ULTIMATE EVIDENCE FOR LIFE AFTER DEATH? The book is coauthored with Professor Gary E. Schwartz, Ph.D., a scientist who is also a prolific author.

In 1990, Lucasfilm hired Paul Davids to cowrite (with his wife, Hollace Davids) six STAR WARS books that weave stories featuring STAR WARS characters that continue the STAR WARS saga after RETURN OF THE JEDI. These books, which have sold millions of copies in several languages, are THE GLOVE OF DARTH VADER, THE LOST CITY OF THE JEDI, ZORBA: Revenge of the Hutt, MISSION OF MOUNT YODA, QUEEN OF THE EMPIRE and PROPHETS OF THE DARK SIDE.

He wrote, produced and/or directed 12 feature films, distributed mainly by Showtime (ROSWELL, 1994) and NBCUniversal International Television (STARRY NIGHT, THE SCIFI BOYS, JESUS ​​IN INDIA, BEFORE WE SAY GOODBYE and THE LIFE AFTER DEATH PROJECT), with one film scheduled for release in 2016: MARILYN MONROE DECLASSIFIED.

His entertainment producing career began with the classic and original animated episodes of TRANSFORMERS. You'll find his name on 79 of these Marvel Productions shows as a production coordinator, and he's also written some longrunning favorites.

He graduated from Princeton University, where he was an awardwinning poet, which led to the publication of three books of poetry, beginning with POEMS TO READ WHILE DRIVING ON FREEWAYS (AND OTHER WAYS TO DIE DIE LAWING). Paul Davids's first book (also cowritten with Hollace Davids) is a cross between Hawaiian mythology and fiction about Mark Twain's early travels. The legendary Stan Lee wrote the foreword. The book is called THE FIRES OF PELE: MARK TWAIN'S LEGENDARY LOST JOURNAL.
