I head out onto Lac La Biche, a lake that has had a problematic past. Overfishing, an active commercial fishery and other environmental issues have taken its toll on Walleye and Pike populations. A restoration program launched by Alberta Environment and Parks back in 2005 marked a turning point for the lake, and after years of work, this lake can now be listed as a viable fishing option.
