With over 350 different species of birds, thousands of alligators, otters, bobcats, snakes, and more, the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive is one of Central Florida's best kept attraction secrets. Located on the North Shore of Lake Apopka, this 11mile driving, biking, and hiking trail is a perfect way to spend your day sightseeing, photographing nature, or picnicking with the family. The trail is open from 7:00 am 5:00 pm all week with Friday through Sunday reserved for those wanting to drive, and Monday through Thursday for hikers and bikers. This interconnected trail features an audio tour, historic landmarks, and plenty of wildlife!
