Annual trip to Lake Chelan with my son to fish Mackinaw (Lake Trout) with Jeff Witkowski of Darrell and Dad's Family Guide Service. The terrible cold wet weather all winter and spring has made the fish not be where they usually are and the bite is extremely nonaggressive, but Jeff still knows that lake and how to entice 26 bites in a day. We were fishing bottom in up to 320 feet of water. With the current and very light bite, we only used 1 rod at a time and still landed 14 total (we let 1 very small Mack go). If you ever want a completely different fishing experience, hook up with Jeff, I can't recommend him enough. I've been making a trip with him for 7 straight years.
