This was in January of 2017, at Arnesons Resort on Lake of the Woods, In far north central Minnesota.I highly recommend Arnesons resort as it it well run and very organized! The cabins are comfortable and clean and the lodge is very nice. It has a very good restaurant and bar. We got the 3 night, 2 day ice fishing package. It is a really good deal for the price which includes 3 meals per day at the restaurant (order anything from the menu) for dinner. Rise early and breakfast is prepared already. They also pack you a good lunch to take out fishing. After breakfast, go out and get on the next tracked snow vehicle and they drop you off at a preheated fishing shack. All holes are drilled and cleared of ice for you.They also supply all your bait.They all have gas propane heaters and lanterns. If you are new to ice fishing the guides will help you out! They come and pick you up right before dark. Don't forget to tip the guides and waiters/waitresses!
