I thought I'd lost this video as i didn't want to upload it at the time... but it is a brilliant example of how the RAF aircrews 'make an avoid or pass' in the low level, this happens more often than we realize and it shows the skills of the pilots as they fly low level and make split second decisions. Details, date and time are known but not shared here for obvious reasons, me having spoken to the pilot later that day i can confirm both pilots had contact with each other and the light aircraft positioned accordingly (to allow a pass) after the low level call made by the typhoon pilot as he routed up Windermere a few mins earlier. And for those of us on the hill that day it was rather memorable... and it made for a rather good video.
