This was the most INSANE skinny creek bass session that i have ever had!

It was a very rewarding trip that consisted of plenty of fish caught with some really good sizes which was a huge bonus.

I started off a little rusty with the bait caster as i haven't used it for a while but quickly got the hang of it and started getting some good casts in up against the edges and snags to find those hungry bass.

Started the day using the old faithful Daiwa kikker curly in both sizes which proved to absolutely slay the fish. Very unfortunate i didn't land that monster fish that quickly buried me behind that barbed wire into some heavy timber.

After losing my frog to a large fish i decided to tie on a swim bait which also did heaps of damage!

Couldn't finish the day without rigging up a trusty Daiwa bait junkie minnow on a 1/16 head which had more of a natural colour and profile as the sun rose above. This also proved to find those fish that were a little more hesitant to eat.

All in all it was a great session in some great country with great company.

Looking forward to doing it all again next season.
