The last landing on runway 16 before the active runway changed to 34. Nanaimo Radio asked if I would land on runway 34 instead when I was just passing the midfield. I was getting a bit lazy and mentally tired. So kept the original plan to land on runway 16. It wasn't bad even under a bit of tail wind and crosswind. According to Phil, tailwind landing was not ideal for Lake Amphibian due to her high dihedral wings. Don't quite understand the link. One thing is for sure, tail wind landing is bad for tires due to relative higher ground speeds.
