How tall is Lando Norris? I measure him to find out. It began with a seemingly innocuous Instagram post I made on January 21st, showcasing the heights of all the 2023 F1 drivers from shortest to tallest. Little did I know, it would spark a controversy that would lead me to measuring Lando's height. Lando himself commented on the post, calling it "factually wrong." I was taken aback and decided to dig deeper. I scoured the internet for answers, but even F1 Grill the Grid and McLaren's driver profiles stated got Lando Norris' height wrong!

Realising that I couldn't continue without getting to the bottom of what was now being called "Heightgate," I decided to take matters into my own hands. Fast forward to 2023 F1 preseason testing in Bahrain, and I asked Lando directly if he'd be keen to let me measure him.

To my surprise, he agreed readily. The final result? Well you'll have to watch the full YouTube video to discover that.
