A LanguageCert SELT ESOL exam is required for family route Leave to Remain applications after 2.5 years in the UK.

LanguageCert International ESOL SELT A2 Speaking & Listening
A 2skills (Speaking & Listening) exam in English, aligned to the A2 level of the CEFR*. It is a Secure English Language Test (SELT) for UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) delivered through LanguageCert’s global network of SELT Centres.

About the exam:

Consists of a short conversation online with a live interlocutor 
Duration 911 minutes
Each candidate is examined individually
Topics and tasks are based on practical experience
Computerbased interview with a live interlocutor at a SELT Test Centre

Listen and respond: answer questions on a short monologue delivered by the interlocutor

Part 4b
Long turn: deliver a short, uninterrupted talk on a relevant topic provided by the interlocutor
