Laravel allows you to use this patter to modify an object through a series of classes also called Pipes.

This is very helpful when you have complex business logic to modify an object like modifying a query based on request parameters which we will see in this video. Or even a little complex requirement like passing a comment through a series of filters before saving a comment to the database.
