Bottom fishing for large bream in summer. July and August are the time for big bream fishing in the lakes. Fishing for large bream with bottom rods and feeders is somewhat different from fishing for young bream. It is important to know the lake and the routes of the big bream well. Large bream are constantly moving, stopping for a while in places where there is more food.

Feed only coarse fodder like corn and peas. Although this feed also attracts roaches and smaller bream, but not so abundantly. At a certain time of the day, the bream come to the feeding place and stay here for a while. Even after the crowd has passed, one ir a few larger bream often remains.

Baits for bream can be various. Pellets have been working well for several seasons now. But it's worth using in a few different mixes. A sandwich of fly maggot and corn, fly maggot and pellet, ten fly maggots held in molasses or sprayed with strawberry spray works well for bream fishing.

For lake bream fishing, heavier feeders of 120 150 grams are best suited. The distance from the shore may vary depending on the slope. Large bream prefer the lower, shallower part of the slope.
