In August, I was able to spend a week in Cape Cod with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy observing and learning about the local white shark populations. The first thing I noticed is that white sharks on the coast here tend to be a bit larger than the juvenile sharks I observe in Southern California. At one point, I filmed a shark approximately 1214 feet long just 25 yards from shore. This video is part one of a series I'm releasing about sharks in and around Cape Cod.

We spent a few days on the water monitoring, observing, and tagging white sharks. It was very much a learning experience and I was very happy to share my knowledge of drones with scientists in the area to help in scientific research and public safety.
