We headed over to Las Ramblas Golf to see how Jamie and myself would get on with what is probably the most challening golf course in the area.

I've played the course before, and enjoyed it even though when paying the green fee, the pro asked if we'd been before. When I said no, he just laughed and said "It's different"

Anyway, back to the round. It's Jamies 1st visit and I know the course is challenging lots of carries over ravines and the occasional water hazard, this golf course is carved into countryside where you just would not think to build a course credit to the designer Pepe Gancedo. The front nine provides epic golf, from the 1st tee shot until the 9th a driveable par 4 over the lake (one of the few aspects of the course visible from the clubhouse).

Las Ramblas is located about 40 minutes from Alicante airport, and about 30 minutes from Murcia airport, only 5 minutes from the lively coastal towns of Cabo Roig and Campomoar, and is in an area surrounded by some very enjoyable golf courses ideal for a golf trip you really are spoit for choice in this area of Spain, but if you want to play a course that doesn't confirm to the usual specifications we'd highly reccomend a visit to Las Ramblas.
