Here we use the MillRight CNC Mega V 2 with the JTech 44W Octo Pro laser to etch steel at 40 inches per minute.

As a company that laser cuts steel with a 3000 watt fiber laser daily, we were skeptical that this would work. This laser delivers though! While you likely could only cut the thinnest of steel with it (we haven't tried it yet), the ability to laser etch steel at these speeds is a game changer.
