In 2009 the Hanford Communities produced a television program about the history of Hanford's B Reactor, the world's first full scale nuclear reactor. Included at the end of the program is film footage of the ceremony when the Deputy Directors of the Department of Interior and the Department of Energy visited B Reactor and presented a plaque designating the facility as a National Historic Monument.
