Lateral Hip or Trochanteric Bursitis - Causes and Treatment

Trochanteric bursitis causes pain on the side of the hip, but it can also refer pain down the side of the leg or into the back. It's a bit of a tricky condition to diagnose, as there are several other injuries that can cause very similar pain. In this video, Maryke explains what a bursa is, why the ones on the side of the hip may become painful, and what treatments can help you to recover.
