The preference of most rocketeers is to use launch lugs on their rocket because they already have a launch rod from which they fly their models. But this discussion about launch rods vs launch rails is actually about safety. At some point it becomes "notassafe" to use the rod. What is the rule of thumb for that point. That is the topic of this video. We'll try to give you some guidance on when you should go from a small launch lug to a bigger one, and then when to switch to rail buttons or rail guides.
