illegal overnight camp in a self converted small camper?

Technically speaking, under common law, no it is not illegal to overnight camp in campervan, as i drive round in my self converted small campervan am i seeing more and more signs saying "no overnight camping"
Something needs to change with our rules here in the UK.

But in this video, there was no overnight camping signs up and about, which makes people thing is it illegal to overnight camp in national parks.

Despite the no overnight camp signs i just wanted to prove that the area would be left in better condition than when we arrived. This whole illegal breaking the law for camping is really just about the elite taking our freedom away bit by bit.

So if anybody from the Shropshire Hills National trust is reading this, i would just like to point out, every time i use your incredible land, for hiking or camping, whether this be in a tent or overnight camping in a van, you can be assured it is people like myself and the others i was with that help keep your land in a cleaner, more eye catching condition.
It is a small minority that ruin it for us, and we get penalised.

Luckily from this amazing overnight camping trip we were left alone, and cleared up around us to leave it better than when we arrived. But my point i am trying to make is that we all seem to be getting our freedom taken, bit by bit.
Lets take Dartmoor for example................
