Project 001: Building a Bolens lawn mower with motorcycle engine.
I bought a cheap Kawasaki kz550ltd, took out the engine and replaced it in a lawn mower. I got the lawn mower from my friend because the regular engine was broken. The purpose of this mission was to see if it was possible to do an engineswitch in my workshop. To do this, I had to make a lot of homemade parts. The engine would then increase from 15 to 55 horse power. I used complete engine and electronic from a Kawasaki kz550LTD, and the pedals is taken out of a Volvo 740. Sprocket and chain is from a Yamaha yzf 450, hydraulic handbrake from eBay, brakes hose from a gsxr 750, fuel tank from another smaller lawn mower, and all the metal parts from Pedersen Sveis og Maskinering, and of course some difference parts from eBay and Wish.
