LAX Airport Welcomes China Southern Airlines A380
China Southern Airlines launched Airbus A380 service between LAXGuangzhou, China on Oct. 12 and celebrated with a water cannon salute for the aircraft, a traditional Chinese lion dance, ribboncutting and reception. It's the first scheduled A380 route from China to the U.S. and the fifth airline at LAX to operate A380 service.
