Hello FrenchTrippers, as you know we never wanted to make "KPOP" videos on this channel, but following the post of a tiktok (VeryFrenchTrip) we received many, but far too many comments from young fans complexing on their bodies because they weren't as beautiful as their favourite idols. From there it was unbearable not to be able to do more than post a response comment. So we decided to deviate from our channel rules and here we are today doing a Kpop video. To do this, we did our job as an audiovisual journalist by going on an investigation as we are used to in the professional world (excluding youtube).
We have been growing up in the Kpop universe for almost 10 years (we had our H24 Kpop period in middle and high school, now we still listen to it but we follow Kpop from afar). We were aware of most of the practices that are similar to the show biz all over the world (so we don't blame), but by looking better, we came across videos that revolted us. We really think it is our duty to show this video to everyone to do prevention: No, kpop stars don't have perfect bodies easily. It's glitters. Even if that doesn't prevent them from being full of talent !
Here we absolutely do not want to disparage the idols, far from it, we love them, but we want to alert fans of the practices and to be able to reassure them and that they do not feel "too big" for this world.
