Join the Housing Development Consortium (HDC), Washington State Department of Commerce, and Representative Emily Alvarado for a virtual webinar about a new funding opportunity available with the Affordable Housing Urgent Repair Fund.

This $5 million funding source, made possible by the 2024 Supplemental Capital Budget, is designated for nonrecurring repair projects to address urgent needs in affordable housing. It will cover insurance deductibles incurred to repair units or buildings, the abatement of potentially hazardous materials, and safetyrelated structural improvements.

Permanent supportive housing and multifamily affordable housing projects in the Housing Trust Fund (HTF) portfolio are eligible for funding.

Applications are reviewed on a firstcome, firstserved basis, with a funding limit of up to $200,000 per property. Applications must be submitted as early as possible, as the program will only reimburse costs incurred 30 days prior to claim submittal.
