1. Pencil – Draw outline for landscape
2. 3/4 inch bristle brush – Paint base coat on canvas with black, white, blue
3. 3/4 inch bristle brush – Finish land with brown, green, white, background blue (made in step 2)
4. 3/4 inch bristle brush – Finish sky and clouds with gray (made in step 2), background blue, white, yellow, brown, rust
5. Pencil – Draw outline for bird and posts
6. #8 round brush – Paint base coat for posts and bird with black, brown, white, rust, light tan (made in step 4)
7. #8 and #3 round brushes – Finish posts with dark brown (made in step 6), black, white, yellow, green, rust
8. #3 round brush – Finish head with white, yellow, brown, black, light brown, rust
9. #3 round brush – Finish wings and feathers with dark brown, rust, white, black
