PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Looking for an easy winter painting idea? Want to do a fun Christmas DIY project? In the mood for fantasy art? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy stepbystep instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint a wintry landscape with a beautiful religious building—a heartwarming and angelic painting “SNOW GLOBE CHRUCH” with acrylic paint. From Christmas trees, Santa’s hat, peppermint ice cream, hot chocolate, ornaments, wreaths, presents, reindeer, mistletoe, Hallmark movies, there are so many iconic symbols, toys and decorations that capture the essence of the Holiday season, but a snow globe outside in the snow—it doesn’t get more wintery than that! Believe it or not, but I actually remember my first, and only, snow globe that I got in my life. When I was just a kid, my grandpa gave me one for Christmas and I was seriously fascinating with it. It had a little Christmas decorated village in it and I just loved tipping it over and shaking it and watching the snow fall all around the tiny town. It was so cool! Snow globes can have any scene in them, but I thought it would be nice to capture the tranquil serenity and simple peacefulness of a church on Christmas Eve. So, join me for this beginner acrylic art lesson and paint this festive, Christmas Holiday image, perfect for the season! In the first step to this acrylic art lesson, you’ll learn how to paint a sky and ground using wintery colors in order to capture the feel of the chilly Holiday atmosphere. Then, after learning how to draw a snow globe and a church using a dottodot method with simple shapes, you’ll apply a base coat to work off of. You’ll then add windows, steeple, wreath, door, stairs and architecture features to your cathedral with just a few brushstrokes. It’s easy enough where you can decorate your church, cross and scenery any way you want. You finish off your landscape by painting snow and tress that surround your holy chapel. You’ll then paint a glass globe, with carefully placed reflections to add depth, shine and dimension giving it a realistic 3D appearance like a photograph. You’ll finish off your majestic and spiritual scene by painting falling snow by using splattering, dotting and stippling techniques. It's so easy to follow, you’ll feel like it’s a paint by numbers, you'll even have enough confidence to change it up if you want. Add presents under the tree, Santa’s flying through the sky, ornaments hanging from a tree, reindeer or a sleigh off in the distance, or colorful holiday lights wrapped around it, just have fun with it and create the perfect canvas wall art to spark the imagination. Using only 3 brushes and 8 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! Have a date night, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It's an easy art project. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video and let's get painting and let's get sipping!
