VIDEO DESCRIPTION This painting tutorial will take you through easy to follow, stepbystep instructions on how to paint this beautiful realistic animal portrait image of "IT'S A HORSE OF COURSE" with an autumnal atmosphere look to it. You’ll learn how to paint this lovely black and brown equine from behind with a leather bridle adorned with Heliopsis flowers with an out of focus background to set the mood of this enchanting large animal. Using a simple connect the dot drawing method, you'll create an outline for the horse that has proper proportions allowing for an easy step by step painting process for you to follow. You'll learn easy painting techniques for blending and adding highlights and shadows for dimension to create form and shape on the body and face. You can personalize the type of horse to resemble your favorite, like a Quarter, Arabian, Thoroughbred, Appaloosa, Clydesdale, Morgan, or a Shetland Pony, or just customize the color to be chestnut, palomino, buckskin or gray. Maybe you want to put a saddle on, or paint a different kind of flower, like a rose, carnation, daisy, or lily, or you put a blue ribbon attached to the bridle. The options are endless on how to make this painting your own! The background could be changed too, to look like the inside of a barn stall, or a blue sky, or a night sky with stars and clouds. Let the posture of the horse show that it is standing tall with a sense of curiosity and pride as it looks off in the distance. You’ll learn how to add texture and dimension to the mane and flowers to create a 3D effect like a photograph. The stallion will come to life with the action of his neck turned in an unusual position with the viewers point of view and perspective from behind. The complimentary colors will bring cohesion and harmony, creating a balance of warmth throughout the image. You’ll learn to paint realistic looking autumn sunflower daisies that pop with energy, an out of focus background simulating a landscape far in the distance, and an expressive stunning horse that is ready to be ridden in the show and ready to take first place. Inspired by a horse named Leo and the gentle nature of the giant animals the black horse can symbolize the balance of energy and removal of negative frequencies. 'Saddle up', for good things to come. The black Stallion overall is also an overall symbolism of high honor and respect. You'll learn to paint this captivating equine with depth, contrast and natural colors, creating an image that is inspirational and beautiful. Using only 3 brushes and 7 colors we'll create this conversational masterpiece that is sure to compliment any décor. So let's get painting and let's get sipping!
