VIDEO DESCRIPTION This painting tutorial will take you through easy to follow, stepbystep instructions on how to draw and paint this dreamy provocative portrait image of "WILD WINDY HAIR" with acrylic paint. You'll learn simple drawing and painting techniques that will help you to create this beautiful romantic portrait painting with a stunning female face emerging from long golden windblown hair on a sunny summer day. The deep brown and blond tones of her hair and the icy blue colors in her eyes and sky will provide an exotic beach goer look to the composition. Surrounded by the light glow from the ambient light behind her head, the woman will appear to be right in front of you, staring into the camera with her enchanting eyes and soft tan skin tone. The hair takes on its own life with the long flowing strands being lifted off her head and across her face by the passing wind. The hair streams over her nose and mouth creating a mysterious anonymous look and also provides good color balance in the composition. You'll learn how to create dimension in the shape of the face and eyes using a simple layering technique with carefree impressionistic blending brushstrokes to create contour highlights and shadows that will define the small details and add texture and contrast to the elements. Use your imagination and customize this to resemble your favorite person, be it a man, woman, mother, father, friend, or child. Paint any color for the hair, skin or eyes, make her a brunette or red head, or paint the eyes to be green or brown, maybe you could even paint a reflection in her eyes, or put sunglasses on her showing the reflection of an ocean landscape in the lenses. The point is to just have fun with it! With the beauty of a young model as the focus in this piece, you'll be able to paint your portrait in a passionate way and let this gorgeous lady be a symbol of fun in the sun, being free and just letting your hair down. You'll learn to create this realistic style painting that has a 3d photo quality to it, that will make for a romantic painting to decorate your home all year long with. You'll have fun painting it and you'll learn some valuable lessons along the way that you can utilize in future work. Let this classic portrait image represent fashion, nice weather and beauty. Using only 3 brushes and 6 colors we'll create this conversational masterpiece with a delicate, beautiful, captivating woman who lets her long wavy locks fly in the wind with fun energy and freedom. So, let's get painting and let's get sipping!
