Composition is basically the design of a scene. There are many different options when it comes to designing a drawing or art piece. One good guideline to remember is to determine what your focal area is the statement you are trying to make and where you want your viewers to look. Then, build the rest of your drawing or sketch around this area. What can you do to lead their eye around the drawing and stop at the focal area? Think about this before you start drawing.
