Elvis was the King, but Scotty Moore was the engine that propelled his early song. Scotty's guitar work on the Sun Records recordings set the blueprint for rock'n roll and rockabilly. His ability to mix country, Western swing, blues and R&B created a sound like no other!

This guitar lesson will walk through one of the first rock n roll songs! It is a staple of rockabilly set list and a great song for beginners up to intermediate and advanced.

Today I am playing a ‪@gretschguitars‬ G6136 White Falcon into a ‪@SuhrCustom‬ Woodshed compressor and a ‪@KeeleyElectronicsEdmond‬ Halo set to a slapback echo sound and then a ‪@Strymon22‬ Iridium set for a Fender Deluxe sound directly into my PC.
