Learn to Sight-Sing with the Bass Clef

Follow
Joe Luegers Music Academy

This lesson features 13 levels of sightsinging exercises which gradually progress in difficulty. Bass clef is commonly used by tenors, baritones, basses, and lowpitched instruments. Go here to view the treble clef edition    • SightSinging Exercises for the Trebl...   The solfège displayed on the screen uses Moveable Do, which is when the syllables always align with the scale degrees in a particular key. Some European countries use a method called Fix Do, where C is always do, D is always re, and so on. If you are used to Fixed Do, just ignore the words before the staff or use the numbers instead. Sight singing is an essential skill that is typically a requirement in music schools for every student, regardless of their primary instrument.
