The problem requires us to assign ranks to scores in an array, with the highest score receiving the "Gold Medal," the secondhighest score receiving the "Silver Medal," the thirdhighest score receiving the "Bronze Medal," and the rest receiving their positions as ranks.

Using Java, we implement the solution, which involves creating a copy of the scores array, sorting it, assigning ranks based on positions, and finally returning the array containing relative ranks.
