The 8th Annual Dillinger Block Party:

Every 2nd Saturday in May we shut down a couple blocks in the heart of Boulder City's picturesque downtown and throw a big block party. Access to the block party is free and allages. This year's event is on Saturday, May 11th from 3pm2am. Featuring live bands, vinyl DJs, food trucks, vendors, and hilarious attractions like the Best Dog on the Block Contest, Dad Noise Competition, and Beer Drink Contest, this will be a party like none other! The block party also serves as a fundraiser for the nonprofit Shane Patton Foundation, which provides scholarships to local high school students. This event is the final destination on a citywide Historic Preservation Day Celebration. At 3:30 there will be a parade led by the BCHS Marching Band down California Street (BC's original parade route) that will end in front of the stage.
