This is my first ever LEGO train setup outdoors and the shots turned out fantastic! Here you can see two of my trains going around the layout. The Metroliner is an old retired LEGO set with the number 4558 or 10001. The Club car in the middle of that train has the set number 4547 or 10002.
The Santa Fe is also basically an old retired set and it was sold in three sets. The set numbers are 10020, 10022 and 10025. Back in the days you could just buy individual locomotives or passenger cars and combine them to make exactly the train you want. I don't actually have the official sets. I just used BrickLink to buy all the individual parts for my train and made a couple of minor changes to the original sets.
