Taal Teentaal/Tritaal is most commonly used and practiced taal of Classical Hindustani Music.It has 16 total matra (or beats) divided into 4 sections of 4 matras each. It can be performed on Tabla as well as other percussion instruments as well. It's symmetric structure makes it easy to understand and practice and thereby is used in various performances.
