But they are already planning to bring the necessary medications directly to where the body needs them and in just the right quantities. The applications are already visible and spectacular, particularly in the field of cancer treatment.
We will also encounter new diagnostic tools that work at the molecular level. For example, they allow the necessary medical analysis work to be carried out using a “laboratory” no larger than a credit card.

But it is with reconstructive medicine that we discover the astonishing perspectives that knowledge of living things brings us: if newts are capable of regrowing a severed limb, why not us? The first results are already there, with mice that regained their sight after their optic nerve was cut!
