Practicing/playing with a conscious mind (no autopiloting)
Always find a balance between technicality and musicality
Always practice both hands and expressively (milk all expressivity out of the notes you play)
Always touch the note before you play it (not hitting)
Scales focus on playing with your fingers
Rhythm practice precisely with a metronome and read the music carefully to figure out what the exact rhythm is
DON'T BE LAZY (always take the most difficult path of practice. taking shortcuts will haunt you down in the future)
