Authentic Tai Chi instructors are frustrated no one is seeing their content but Fake Tai Chi is ruling the internet. Let me explain WHY. I know telling the traditional TCMA community to write Tai Chi instead of Taiji or Taijiquan is blasphemy but please watch the video and listen to my reasoning. My earlier video shined a light on the growing misrepresentation of Tai Chi in the general public. This video explains how the use of Taiji and Taijiquan spellings contribute to the public’s lack of understanding of Tai Chi. In order for the public to see the full representation of Tai Chi as an internal martial art, we must use Tai Chi for all online content. I also discuss a few of my thoughts on some ways to heal our fractured Tai Chi ecosystem.
