The Torso T1 is an algorithmic sequencer for synths and modular. You can use it to create music using generative patterns, and the results sound quite wonderful. In this tutorial video I show how to use the T1 with a small Eurorack modular system to make techno.

The T1 takes a very different approach to music making. Instead of the standard stepsequencer it uses Euclidean sequencing and randomised melodies all quantised to a scale. The closest in features is probably the Conductive Labs NDLR, but the T1 is more handson and playable.

The T1 works well with standard MIDI controlled synths, but using it with a modular is tricky. In this video I'll explain everything you need to know to get started using the T1, hook it up to your modular, and make some banging Techno music!
