As promised, KP finally pulls up their bootstraps to make a whirlwind road trip to Chesapeake Light Craft in Annapolis, MD. They visit the CLC shop and pick up a Lighthouse Tender Peapod kit. This cunnin' little vessel will look like a classic Maine double ended wooden boat of yore, but CLC designs marine plywood kits so nearly anyone can build one. The fullcolor manual is a hoot to read and no one says that anymore.
John Harris and the CLC team warmly welcomed and showed us around their incredible facility where they have spent decades making wooden boat building accessible to us all.

The big Heron sail boat restoration is on hold for a minute, so follow along to watch KP and team build a smaller wooden boat in the mean time.
