Hey Afrodisiacs! In today's video, I talk about my protein overload recovery journey. It's been a few months since I actively started to treat the overload. I've started prepoo'ing with extra virgin olive oil, clarifying on wash days, using a moisturizing deep conditioner weekly for 30 minutes, and using only moisturizing/protein free products to style. I also refresh mid week to add moisture. I feel that my hair has been looking much better lately, but it still has some recovering to do after using an intensive protein treatment for several months.
