Level Up Your Strumming Patterns With Accents | Acoustic Guitar Strumming Tutorial

In this lesson James Shows you how to add bass notes and accents into Acoustic guitar strumming patterns.

Accents add a stroke into the pattern that is roughly 25% more aggressive than the others in the bar. This adds dynamics and texture into the pattern. We also discuss a Bass note that features in the first beat of the bar. A bass note is where you aim to strike the lower (E,A & D) strings separate from the others to create a deep and low sound again adding texture.
