LG WM6700HBA Front Loading Bright Whites Wash Cycle (Warm/High spin/Med. Heavy soil) - regular load

Nihil Nobody

LG WM6700HBA front loading washing machine doing a full Bright Whites Wash Cycle with Warm/High Speed spin/Mid. Heavy soil settings.
Contrary to the AI Wash cycle (see my other video on this channel for examples), this program only checks for load size and not for clothing type or soil level.
The cycle is optimized for bleach use with white only garments. I use Oxyclean instead as several white items have some color in them and I am not a fan of bleach in general.

Check out the chapters/timecodes below if you are interested in some specific part of the cycle.

Additional comments:
Initial Bright Whites wash cycle duration estimation 39 mins; final cycle duration 42 mins the extra 3 mins due essentially to load balancing for spinning.

TurboWash is on by default for this cycle and cannot be disabled.
When the water is loaded for the main cycle, the "filtering" DD motion is used as clothes are quickly tumbled to be wet evenly with soap and water.

I guess to keep the temperature "warm" and saving electricity not using the heater or to improve washing efficacy, water is added twice during the main wash section of the cycle.
I don't understand the efficacy of the brief stepping motions of the drum during the main wash.
Balancing attempts for this particular load took on average about 11.5 mins before each spin stage.

During each spin, a small amount of water (about 5 secs) is sprayed in the drum to, possibly, improve rinsing efficacy.

During the drain of the rinse water, the top jet is used actively to add clean water and dilute further any soapy water still in the load.

The machine is on a second floor laundry room with nontile flooring.
