Professor Lida Maxwell (https://www.bu.edu/polisci/profile/li...) is a political theorist and a Professor of Political Science and Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies at Boston University. She is the author of Public Trials: Burke, Zola, Arendt, and the Politics of Lost Causes (https://global.oup.com/academic/produ...) (Oxford University Press, 2014) and Insurgent Truth: Chelsea Manning and the Politics of Outsider TruthTelling (https://global.oup.com/academic/produ...) (Oxford University Press, 2019).
