This is a render of fused lidar and thermal data capture from a DJI M350 + L2 lidar and a Mavic 3T thermal drone centered on the Old Johnson building at Binghamton University. The white roof of the building significantly reduces the temperature, and the surrounding trees cool the ground nearby. Urban heat is a significant problem, but choices in design can significantly reduce temperatures.
